Research Project: Social Innovation through U.S.-Japan Collaboration

Tomohiro Ueda holds a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Tokyo. At Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting, LLC., he led multiple overseas business projects with Japanese client companies. His notable projects include organizational change management for establishing a holdings company in the U.S., system architecture design for a smart city with the automotive industry, and risk management process analysis for launching a new banking business in the Philippines. His most recent position was the project manager of digital transformation planning on trade finance and loan operations at a Singapore megabank. During the 2023-24 academic year, Mr. Ueda will conduct research on promoting social innovation through U.S.-Japan collaboration.
