Mr. Kozuki has had a distinguished career in  Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), and is a leading expert on Japan-Russia relations. He has served as Deputy Director-General (Ambassador), European Affairs Bureau; Deputy Chief of Mission, Minister, Embassy of Japan in Russia; Director, Management and Coordination Division, Minister’s Secretariat; and Director, Japan-U.S. Security Treaty Division, North American Division. In 2010, he served as Consul General, Consulate General of Japan in Boston. Mr. Kozuki received his B.A. in International Relations from the University of Tokyo.
