Naoya Kora
Research Project:
Aligning Corporate Culture and Organizational Mission in Public Financial Institutions
Naoya Kora holds a B.A. in Economics from Kyushu University and joined the Development Bank of Japan Inc. (DBJ) in 2010. He most recently served as Senior Vice President in the Human Resource Management Department, where he was responsible for talent development, formulating HR strategy and organizational systems, managing personnel transfers, and addressing employee relations issues, including mental health and workplace harassment. Earlier in his career, he worked in client coverage roles during major crises in Japan, including the Great East Japan Earthquake and the COVID-19 pandemic, supporting companies as part of DBJ’s crisis response operations by providing long-term financing, subordinated financing, and preferred equity investments. His research project is “Aligning Corporate Culture and Organizational Mission in Public Financial Institutions.”
